{"id":120,"date":"2008-10-04T03:15:40","date_gmt":"2008-10-04T09:15:40","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2025-08-04T07:15:27","modified_gmt":"2022-11-07T00:34:11","slug":"waterloo-en-haikus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/intussen.blog\/?p=120","title":{"rendered":"Waterloo en haiku&#8217;s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Op 18 juni 1815 verloor Napoleon in Waterloo van de geallieerde legers onder het bevel van de hertog van Wellington en het Pruisische leger onder het bevel van Gebhard von Bl\u00fccher. Na Napoleon&#8217;s nederlaag stemden de toenmalige grootmachten (Groot-Brittani\u00eb, Oostenrijk, Pruisen en Rusland) in met de oprichting van het Verenigd Koninkrijk der Nederlanden, waarvan &#8211; vijftien jaar later &#8211; Belgi\u00eb zich zou afscheiden.<\/p>\n<p>Maar wat als Napoleon nu eens niet verloren had? Dan haalden we nu waarschijnlijk stokbrood bij de bakker, dronken we Pastis op zomerse terrasjes, spraken we met zijn allen frans in BHV, en waren onze beleggingen veilig bij een genationaliseerde Generale Maatschappij.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Evenwel neemt de geschiedenis geen draai. Napoleon werd verbannen naar Sint-Helena, en wat ons nu nog rest als herinnering aan die periode is de jaarlijkse evocatie van de slag bij Waterloo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hieronder vind je enkele foto&#8217;s van die evocatie. Onder elke foto staat een haiku over, en meestal tegen, de oorlog. Vier plaatjes zijn nog haiku-vrij. Welk creatief talent wens zijn haiku geplaatst te zien?
